Count of Marisco
Middle-aged aristocrat distantly related to the royal family of Sicily (c.1160).

He was a lieutenant in the government of Archdeacon Henry of Catania. His appointment was intended to appease the aristocrats (November 1160). During the upheavals, he interceded on behalf of the city of Salerno with King William I of Sicily (1162). He died soon after.

"For my part, I adhere to the maxim of antiquity: The throne is a glorious sepulchre."
